I have what appears to be a ganglion cyst on my left wrist. It has been there for a few months and they usually go away by themselves ... except mine appears to be putting pressure on a nerve as for the last couple of days I have had a "pins and needles" type feeling in my left ring and pinky fingers. I saw the doctor today and she has referred me to a specialist who I am seeing tomorrow afternoon for assessment. I am not sure whether he will aspirate the cyst or suggest surgical removal. In either case, I probably will not be able to use my left hand for a few days. No typing or stitching - thankfully I can still play The Sims 2 as that only requires the use of the mouse and my right hand - lol!

I used to get ganglions when I was a child - I think the name is very funny, and no-one believed me when I said that what that lump was called!

Any excuse to play the Sims, I don't know the effort some people go to, lol. Seriously, hope you are ok and it all gets sorted quickly. Happy Sims playing.
