I've got a cold, and I'm feeling flat - blah! I don't like being sick. It's 40+ degrees Celsius outside but I have a cold ... go figure! The upside however is that Ken worked from home today, did the school run, turned the phones down and made me stay in bed for most of the morning. I have a wonderful husband :)
Our internet has been painfully slow lately which is a frustration in itself, particularly when you use web based email .... grrrr! So much for having a hi-speed connection - ha! Unfortunately we don't have the option to change. Anyway, I went on a major Sims 2 playing spree instead :)
I haven't stitched on a lot this past week and no new projects have been started either - lol! I did work a little on An Open Heart this afternoon however. Last weekend was busy so my plans to resurrect an old WIP (Snowflake QS) didn't happen but St Georges did see some minor action. One colour projects are much easier when you only have a few minutes to spare here and there :)
No stitching pics today - I'll try for tomorrow :)
Unfortunately it looks like I'm going to have to find another colour to replace the Charteuse on my Southern Jewel. I have tried to email the Dye is Cast using the address at their website twice and both times my message has bounced back *sigh*. I'll set to finding something else over the weekend when hopefully my head will be a lot less fuzzy :)

Poor, Mel! I'm just getting over a cold too, so feel very sorry that you're going through the head fuzzies and pounds of tissues. DH is doing a fine job taking care of you and I'm sure you'll be feeling better soon.
Yuck! I can understand how you feel........well done to Ken-hope you are feeling better soon, and that your internet speeds up too.
